NOVEMBER RACE ROUND UP
It has been a busy and successful period of racing for Bitton, with strong performances across cross country, road, trail and marathon events. Club runners picked up personal bests, age category placings and team honours, while proudly representing the blue and yellow.
Gloucestershire Cross Country
Catherine Wickham ran a strong race to complete the course in 24:08, starting the month on a positive note for the club.
Mendip Aurora 10k
Jo Harris produced an excellent run to finish in 1:10:03, securing 1st FV50.
Bideford 10 Miler
This race delivered several personal bests for Bitton runners.
Charles Hann recorded a superb PB of 1:06:31 and placed 2nd MV60.
George Ponting finished in a PB time of 1:20:43.
Jackie Hann also achieved a PB, crossing the line in 1:21:07.
Sodbury Slog
Bitton had a strong turnout at the Sodbury Slog, supported by a fantastic group of club volunteers.
Liz Sanigar led the club home in an impressive 1:03:16, finishing 2nd female overall.
Rich Kershaw was first Bitton male in 1:09:18.

Bath Skyline Night 10k
Bitton runners delivered strong performances under the lights:
Emma Taylor finished in 1:01:21, placing 3rd FV40 and first home for the club.
Jo Harris continued her excellent form with a 1:03:24 finish and 1st FV50.

EAMA 10k
Robyn Hinsley finished in 43:24 to place 2nd Senior Female.
George Ponting followed with a solid run in 48:51.
Bath Skyline Day 10k
Charles Hann continued his strong Skyline performances, finishing in 46:53 and placing 3rd MV60.
Anna Avery was first Bitton lady home in 54:26, also taking 2nd FV40.

Matt Wood ran an excellent race to finish 2nd overall in 23:37.
Shaun Scammell completed the course in 28:04.
Severn Bridge 5 Mile Night Race
Neil Evans took on the challenging night conditions to finish in 49:11.
Florence Marathon
Taking Bitton colours abroad, Charles and Jackie Hann both completed the Florence Marathon:

Machen Trail Half Marathon
Leah Tuohy tackled the demanding Machen Trail Half Marathon, finishing in 3:20:51 on a challenging hilly course.
